PITTSBURGH (AP) – Police in Pittsburgh are searching for three people who they say are accused of kidnapping and torturing a man for days, kicking and beating him unconscious with a hammer.

Court records show 42-year-old Karrie Diaz, 31-year-old Joshua Flick and 32-year-old Justin Keller are facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related offenses.

Investigators say the victim told detectives he was hit from behind and knocked out while walking to his car after leaving a bar on July 23. Authorities say he woke up tied to a chair and Flick and Keller would untie him and beat him until he passed out.

Police say the man told them Diaz is his girlfriend, Flick is Diaz’s brother and Keller is friends with Flick.
