DONORA – Donora police have charged three women with promoting prostitution over the Internet and cellphones.

Using a website where people advertise escort services, borough undercover officers arranged to have sex with: Stephanie Duff, 30, of Dunlevy on Sunday; Carrie N. Slider, 19, of Applewood Drive, New Eagle on Aug. 4; and Daidra Al Shabazz-Lomax, 20, of McKeesport, on Sunday, court records show.

The meetings took place in the 800 block of Meldon Avenue, where patrolmen moved in after the women allegedly named a price for an encounter, the affidavit states.

Duff was placed in Washington County jail on a probation violation. District Judge Mark Wilson issued warrants Monday for the arrests of the other two suspects.
