Andy Warhol Bridge closing for repairs for 15 months

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh’s Andy Warhol Bridge is closing for repairs for 15 months.

The bridge will close at 9 a.m. Monday to vehicles and pedestrians.

The $25 million rehabilitation project will include the installation of a new concrete deck, structural steel repairs and a fresh coat of paint.

The work is expected to continue until November 2017.

The Rachel Carson Bridge will be used as a detour.
