Greene County community events
Lexie, Courtney & Cassidy will perform a pop-and-country concert from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Lions Club Park as part of the Waynesburg Lions Club Sounds of Summer concert series. Those who attend are asked to bring old eyeglasses to donate to Lions Club. Nonperishable food items also will be collected to be donated to Greene County families. Pets and alcohol are prohibited at the concerts.
Town & Country Garden Club will meet on at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Hewitt Presbyterian Church in Rices Landing. Shane Miller from Raccoon Creek State Park and Alan Johnson from Ryerson Station State Park will speak. Guests are welcome. For more information, call 724-966-5856.
