Police beat Aug. 17
Jewelry stolen: State police are investigating the theft of $6,090 worth of women’s jewelry from the home of a 71-year-old woman on School Bus Road between July 10 or 11.
Theft charges: Richard Leo Gump, 50, of Waynesburg, and Michael Allen Rickard, 24, of Prosperity, will be charged with theft for allegedly stealing three jacks from Morris Tire Services at 948 N. Eighty-Eight Road on Sunday, state police said.
Burglary: Two laptop computers, three prepaid cellphones and $100 were stolen in a burglary at 200 Ridge Road between July 15, state police said.
Theft at well pad: Batteries were stolen from equipment at the Mor14 well pad in Morris Township between 5:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday, state police said. Other stolen items included copper wire, a drill bit and drill rod adapters. The equipment is owned by Alex E. Paris Contracting of Atlasburg and Straight to the Point of Gibsonia.
