Card information used: Jean Gauna of Canton Township told state police information from her credit card was used Aug. 2 to make a purchase at a Walgreens in Brooklyn, N.Y. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-223-5200.

Assault charge: Brandon Griest, 31, of 938 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, was charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly shoving Mary Ann Johnson Monday afternoon, causing her to fall and cut her hand. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Burglary reported: Jessica Isenhart of McClane Farm Road told Chartiers police a television and credit cards were stolen in a break-in at her home Monday. Entry to the residence was made through a kitchen window.

Thefts reported: Chartiers police are investigating two thefts reported Saturday at the Washington County Fair. Adilenne Serrano of Washington reported a Samsung Galaxy cellphone was stolen. Cori Grelek of Canton Township reported $175 was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

DUI charge: Joshua C. Todd, 22, of 1829 N. Main St., Washington, was charged last week by state police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a July 3 traffic stop on Country Club and McClane Farm roads, Chartiers. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Harassment, PFA charges: Dennis J. Robinson, 42, of Ambridge, was charged by North Franklin police with violating a protection-from-abuse order and harassment. He is accused of going to the fast-food restaurant where his estranged wife works and threatening to harm her boyfriend Friday.

Vehicles entered: Two vehicles parked at South Hills Kia on Washington Road were reported broken into Monday, and money was missing from both, police said.

Theft at business: Someone entered K&B Nails, 113 E. McMurray Road, on Monday and stole between $1,500 and $1,800 from an envelope.

Pair charged: Christopher Carroll, 30, of 109 Crest Ave., Speers, and Kasie Leah Hunsberger, 23, of 217 Winslow Drive, Oakdale, are charged by township police with access device fraud, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property, police said. They are accused of stealing a credit card from a vehicle parked at Aldi’s, 772 Rostraver Road, and using it to purchase $867 worth of electronics at Walmart, 100 Sara Way, about 10 a.m. June 21.

Theft charges: Larry Bolling, 23, of 808 Riverview Drive, McKeesport, is charged by township police with two counts of theft over accusations he stole items valued at $47.18 at Walmart, 100 Sara Way, and returned them for cash at the store’s customer service desk about 1:10 p.m. Aug. 3, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges in a summons Monday.

Pair charged: Darryl D. Trinkala, 39, of 700 Louis Ave., Speers, and Joanna Zelinsky, 36, of 5 Webster Ave., Charleroi, are charged with retail theft over accusations they stole an air conditioner and other items worth $602 from Walmart, 100 Sara Way, about 10:30 a.m. Sunday, township police said. Trinkala also is charged with escape and resisting arrest over accusations he led police on a foot chase through the store’s parking lot.

Theft report: Rachel Becerra-Cintra, 31, of 312 Highland Drive, Monessen, is charged by township police with theft of leased property and receiving stolen property over allegations she rented property valued at $5,486 from Prime Rentals, 690 Tyrol Boulevard, about 9:20 a.m. March 8 and failed to make payments beyond $833, police said.

ATVs stolen: State police said two all-terrain vehicles and a trailer were reported stolen Monday from 2740 Park Ave., South Franklin. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

Receiving arrest: Maceo B. Bell, 44, of 1004 Bolder St., California, was arrested Monday on a charge of receiving stolen property after police said he was spotted on Interstate 70 near the south junction with Interstate 79, South Strabane, driving a Ford Escort reported stolen to Donora police. The owner of the vehicle, Brian Edward Lyon, told police he was behind it on the highway. Bell was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and released on $2,500 unsecured bond.

Hindering charge: Amber Lee Barrows, 25, of 480 Broad St., Washington, was charged last week with two counts of hindering apprehension after she allegedly told state police David J. Durbin was not at home when they went to pick him up on a probation violation Aug. 3. Police said they found him hiding in an upstairs crawl space. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge David Mark.

Saw, drills stolen: James O’Brien of 295 Meadow Ave. told Washington police Monday a Milwaukee portable band saw valued at $350, a Hogan magnetic drill valued at $600 and Craftsman drill valued at $50 were stolen from his property.

Window broken: The property manager for Washington County Housing Authority at Maple Terrace told Washington police Monday a back window was broken at 131 Maple Terrace.

Toolbox stolen: A toolbox containing a variety of drills and batteries was reported stolen Monday from an unlocked work truck at McVehil’s, 30 E. Wheeling St., Washington police said.
