PITTSBURGH (AP) – Utility crews are busy restoring electricity after a wave of thunderstorms roared across Pennsylvania.

Utilities across the state are reporting nearly 6,000 homes and businesses are without power Wednesday morning. Most of those are in the Allegheny County.

Strong winds downed trees and power lines on Tuesday night.

A barn also collapsed near East Donegal, but no one was hurt.
