East Washington police refile charges in disturbance
East Washington police refiled charges against several people accused in a June 7 disturbance in the 100 block of North Avenue.
District Judge Jay Weller dismissed the previous charges filed against Byno Edward Golubosky, 44; Karie A. Kohler, 40; Faith Filmore, 51, and Judd Ferguson, 43, all of 129 North Ave., at an Aug. 1 preliminary hearing after the officer did not appear. The Washington County district’s attorney’s office authorized the refiling of the charges.
Golubosky is accused of hitting Ferguson in the head with a metal pipe. Fillmore is accused of threatening Kohler and Ferguson. Kohler is accused of causing a disturbance, and Ferguson allegedly broke into another person’s apartment, police said.
Golubosky is charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Kohler is charged with failure to disperse, disorderly conduct and harassment. Filmore is charged with failure to disperse, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats. Ferguson is charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. They are scheduled for a Sept. 26 hearing before Weller.
