A 30-year-old Miami woman has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy after prosecutors said she and an accomplice used counterfeit credit cards last year at South Strabane Township and Grove City outlet malls.

Jeisy Camejo-Escandell entered the plea Tuesday before U.S. District Judge Cathy Bissoon in Pittsburgh, according to court records.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Western Pennsylvania said Camejo-Escandell and Gean Carlos Del Valle-Barquin, 38, of Doral, Fla., arrived in Pittsburgh June 25, 2015, with plans to make purchases at the outlet stores the next day. Del Valle-Barquin pleaded guilty to conspiracy June 29.

Camejo-Escandell is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 6. Del Valle-Barquin’s sentencing date is Oct. 24.

The maximum sentence for conspiracy is five years in prison, a $250,000 fine or both.
