Greene County community events
Throckmorton United Methodist Church will have its community dinner today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans and macaroni salad, along with desserts and drinks. The meal is free, although donations are accepted. Take-out is available, and everyone is welcome to attend.
A handbag sale will be held 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Guesman Room at WHS-Greene hospital. There will be various discounts off retail prices. The event is sponsored by the hospital auxiliary.
