PennDOT schedule released

The state Department of Transportation announced the tentative work schedule for Greene County roads next week.

Maintenance activities are conducted weather permitting.

Motorists should drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights, Greene County maintenance manager Jerry Simkovic said.

• Bridge replacement on state Route 2018 in Whiteley Township.

• Bridge flushing on various routes in the western half of the county.

• Drainage and inlet repair on state Route 3011 in Center Township.

• Shoulder stabilization on Route 221 in Washington Township.

• Drainage on state Route 1021 in Cumberland and Jefferson townships.

• Shoulder stabilization on state Route 1015 in Cumberland and Jefferson townships.

• Slide crew will have major slide repairs on state Route 3010 in Aleppo Township.

• Side dozing on state Route 4007 in Richhill Township.

• Patching on Route 21 in Gray and Center townships.

• Boom mowing on state routes 4006 and 4027 in Center Township.

• Secondary roadway mowing will take place on various routes in the county.

• State roads will be reviewed and signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and concerns addressed on various state roads throughout the county.
