Pittsburgh police: Woman left young children at motel up to 3 days
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh police have jailed a woman suspected of leaving her three young children at a motel alone for up to three days and charged her with endangering them.
Thirty-two-year-old Tabatha Graczyk was charged and jailed Monday with endangering the children, range in age from 8 months to 3 years old
Police say the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families alerted investigators to the situation Sunday. The children were reportedly found alone in a room at the Days Inn on Banksville Road.
The children were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for Graczyk, who was unable to post bond. She faces a preliminary hearing Aug. 31.
