A Clarksville man died Tuesday evening after a one-vehicle crash in Deemston Borough.

James Luzier, 46, died in Monongahela Valley Hospital after a 5 p.m. crash in the 1899 block of Morey Road. According to a report from Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, Luzier was traveling south when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a fire hydrant and tree. Luzier was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.

The cause and manner of death are pending. State police are investigating.
