Final touches being made on renovated Carmichaels elementary

The figures K through 5 are painted on the hallway walls as the Carmichaels Elementary Center finishes renovations for the first day of school.
Some boxes and old furniture remain stacked outside classrooms and will be removed before the start of the school year. The school was renovated over the summer at a cost of $4.645 million.
