PennDOT releases work schedule

The state Department of Transportation announced the tentative work schedule for Greene County roads for the week beginning Monday.

Maintenance activities are conducted weather-permitting. Motorists should drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights, Greene County Maintenance Manager Jerry Simkovic said.

• Bridge replacement work will be done on state Route 2018 in Whiteley Township.

• Bridge flushing will be conducted on various routes in the western half of the county.

• Drainage, inlet cleaning and shoulder stabilization work will be completed on state Route 1015 in Jefferson Township.

• Wash out repairs will be done on Route 218 in Wayne and Franklin townships and shoulder stabilization work completed on state Route 1015 in Cumberland and Jefferson townships.

• Crews will repair a major slide on state Route 3020 in Jackson Township.

• Side dozing will be completed on state Route 3011 in Center Township.

• Patching will be done on Route 21 in Gray and Center townships. Boom mowing will be completed on state routes 4006 and 4005 in Center and Richhill townships.

• Mowing will be done on various secondary roadways throughout the county.

• State roads will be checked, signs updated or replaced and other concerns addressed on various roads throughout the county.
