DUI alleged in crash: Joshua Mac, 21, of Canonsburg, was arrested by Cecil Township police for suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash about 5:15 a.m. Aug. 20 at 1839 Route 980 that damaged a fence. Upon arrival, police said they found his vehicle over an embankment, and a man coming home from work was assisting Mac. Mac allegedly admitted he didn’t know what happened and he was drinking at a club. Police said he agreed to submit a blood-alcohol test, which came back at 0.116 percent. He was unsteady on his feet, and his eyes were glassy and bloodshot, police said.

Assault charges: Ian Tyler Kolman, 21, of 305 Wayne Ave., Weirton, W.Va., was arrested Thursday at First Niagara Pavillion on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, manufacturing drugs, use of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct following an incident at the venue in which he allegedly tried to gain unpaid entry, fought with officers and was found with marijuana, Hanover police said.

Harassment alleged: Ashawntae Larai James, 18, of 324 S. Negley Ave., Pittsburgh, is charged by city police with false alarms to 911, communications to 911, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. She is accused of reporting fictitious domestic disputes to 911 Aug. 15 and leaving threatening messages on the cellphone of her former boyfriend, a 17-year-old Monessen resident. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges Thursday in a summons.

Drug charges: Todd Simms, 19, of 404 Fourth St., was arrested Monday for possession of drug paraphernalia found during a July probation visit at his home, Monongahela police said. Simms was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Assault: Chase Alexander O’Brien, 18, of 617 Lincoln St., was arrested Thursday on charges of simple assault, harassment, unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct in connection with a fight with his girlfriend, Kaitlynn Greyshock, in which he allegedly held her to the floor and struck her several times, Monongahela police said. O’Brien was placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

Theft charges: Brenna Lea Shemasek, 30, of 9 Aliquippa Ave., Monessen, was arrested Thursday for a retail theft from Walmart Aug. 19, Rostraver police said. Shemasek faces additional charges of robbery, simple assault, hindering apprehension and possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident Aug. 20 at the same location in which she allegedly attempted to flee a loss-prevention officer in a motorized wheelchair and caused injury to his ankle.

Theft by deception alleged: Amanda R. Binger, 28, of 170 Valley View Drive, Belle Vernon, was arrested Thursday on two charges of theft. Rostraver police said she stole $14,792 from her employer, TJ Beer Warehouse, by canceling transactions and undercharging sales.

Gun theft: Clarence Gordon of 228 Oak St. reported Thursday a Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun was stolen from his vehicle between Aug. 18 and Thursday, Washington police said.
