Police beat Dec. 5
Harassment: An argument between a man, 20, and a woman, 24, turned physical around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at 19 Madison St. State police did not report names.
Harassment: State police reported that Heather Lynn Rankin, 44, and Christian Gerlachovsky, 20, punched and kicked each other during a physical altercation around 12:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at 103 S. Pine St.
Simple assault: According to state police, Cynthia Rose Lucy, 56, bit Tiffany Rose Lucy, 32, during a physical altercation around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at 19 S. Main St.
Crash injury: A Monongahela man was transported to an area hospital with a suspected minor injury following a two-vehicle crash around 5:20 a.m. Nov. 23. State police reported that Joseph F. Mucho Jr., 49, was driving west on Route 136 when he struck a vehicle pulling into a driveway that was operated by Robert Hamilton, 33, of Venetia, who was unhurt. Mucho said he did not see the other car, according to police, and that the force of the collision forced his vehicle across the road and into a mailbox on the berm.
Burglary: Cary Hays, 260 Sumney Road, told state police that someone pried open the back door between 3 and 5:30 p.m. Friday and stole handguns, rifles, jewelry and other items, then left leaving the back and front doors open.
Collision with deer: Dennis C. Russell, 68, of Wilimington, Del., was taken to Washington Hospital with a suspected minor injury after the vehicle he was operating collided with a deer on Interstate 70, near westbound mile marker 29, a little after noon last Monday. He told state police the deer jumped over the center barrier and into the path of his vehicle, and that after striking the animal, he pulled to a controlled stop on the shoulder.
Theft: Officials at Brentzel Excavation reported the theft of a 12-foot utility trailer from 161 Piper Road. The alleged incident occurred between Nov. 11 and 14, state police said.
Theft: A pumpkin was reported stolen from Brandon Aaron Belford, 33, at 63 McGuffey Road between Nov. 17 and 28.
