Thefts: State police said five shotguns were stolen from a garage on Banetown Road and several items were removed from multiple parked vehicles in the same area Sunday or Monday.

Checks returned: Shawn Johnathan Bumbera, 47, of 2920 W. Chestnut St., Canton Township, was charged by borough police with two counts of bad checks over allegations he wrote two checks totalling $829 to pay for merchandise at Keystone Hardware, 625 W. Pike St., in late September on a bank account that didn’t have enough funds to cover them, court records show. District Judge David Mark issued the charges in a summons Thursday.

Woman jailed: Shelissa Lorraine Chandler, 34, address unknown, is charged by state police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse her of selling an undisclosed amount of crack to an informant working with a trooper in a parking lot in the 800 block of Henderson Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 18. Chandler was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Friday by District Judge David Mark.

Warrant issued: Marquala Monique Chaney, 28, of 1331 Summit Ave., Monessen, was charged by Donora police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she struck Qualynn Bass repeatedly in the head outside 1321 Gilmore Ave. about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson sign a warrant for her arrest the following day.

Assault alleged: Dennis E. Vaccaro, 58, of 533 Park Ave., Monongahela, was charged by city police with aggravated assault and simple assault over accusations he struck his wife, Mecca, twice in the head with the wooden end of a gardening tool at their residence about 11:40 a.m. Monday, court records show. He is free on $10,000 bond set that afternoon by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Threat against officers alleged: Michael Lee Tustin, 36, of 216 Old Oak St., Langeloth, was charged by Smith Township police with making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment over allegations he said he planned to shoot police officers when they arrived at his home during an Oct. 23 disturbance. District Judge Gary Havelka issued the charges in a summons Thursday.

Assault charges: Sabrina Lee Hancock, 28, of 110 Boyle Ave., Canonsburg, was charged by township police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she struck her boyfriend, Kenneth Stevens Jr., fracturing his nose at 40 Cherry Creek Road about 3:10 a.m. Monday, court records show. District Judge Gary Havelka issued the charges in a summons after police sent Hancock to Washington County jail on a probation violation.

Theft alleged: Chelsea Nicole Newman, 27, of 51 Center Ave., Burgettstown, was charged by township police with theft, forgery, access device fraud and conspiracy, court records show. Police accused Newman of using a family member’s banking card to steal $800 and another credit card to make $596 in purchases in September and October, court records show. District Judge Gary Havelka issued the charges in a summons Friday.

Harassment alleged: Richard N. Martincic, 53, of 242 Kusch Road, North Bethlehem Township, was charged by state police with harassment and disorderly conduct over allegations he placed eight phone calls Sept. 15 to Suite-Kote Corp., 20 Old Plank Road, alarming its employees, court records show. District Judge Ethan Ward issued the charges in a summons Thursday.
