Harassment charge: Joseph G. Willis, 61, of Donora, will be charged by California police with harassment and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident Friday afternoon at 504 Green St., police said.

Meter stolen: A double parking meter was reported stolen Monday from the mall lot on East Pike Street, police said.

Teen arrested: Dennis Brown, 18, of Oakdale, was arrested early Tuesday by Cecil police on charges of fleeing and eluding police, corruption of minors, reckless endangerment, possession of marijuana and several traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop in which he allegedly fled from the officer. Police tried to stop him on Sherwood Circle, but he allegedly fled on Johns Avenue to Noblestown Road, where his vehicle went into a ditch. A 17-year-old boy was in the vehicle with him. Police said they could smell marijuana in the vehicle and found the suspected drug on Brown. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Theft arrest: Lori Montgomery, 43, of 606 Crest Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Sunday by Charleroi Regional police on a felony charge of retail theft after she allegedly stole an item from Rite Aid, 101 Fifth St., police said. She was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins and released from Washington County Jail after posting $25,000 bond.

Contractor charged: State police have charged Neiswanger Construction of Strattanville with littering on the road after trucks reportedly left mud, rocks and debris in the 1900 block of Morey Road, Deemston, on Monday. The trucks were leaving a quarry site, police said.

Warrant arrest: Robert Majors, 46, of Pottstown, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant obtained by Donora police after he allegedly stole a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck, wallet and cellphone from Charles Niehaus at 102 Ida Ave. on Dec. 25. Police said he was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving under suspension. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Fugitive nabbed: Shannon M. Morehead, 39, of 922 Pike Run Drive, Coal Center, was taken into custody Monday by East Bethlehem Township police during a traffic stop on Route 88, Fredericktown. Police said she was wanted on a fugitive warrant issued in Maryland in October 2002 for failure to appear for a trial. She was arraigned as a fugitive from justice before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County Jail without bond for 30 days, pending extradition.

Drivers identified: State police have provided more information about the crash of a car and tractor-trailer that closed Interstate 70 between Taylorstown and West Chestnut Street in North Franklin Township for about two hours Sunday. Police said the driver of the car involved in the 9:40 p.m. crash was Emily Jackson, 25, of Claysville, who was taken to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for moderate injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Michael James Nedley, 46, of Troy, Bradford County, refused treatment for minor injuries.

Drug charge: Troy S. Ethridge, 28, of 1192 Maple Terrace, Washington, was charged Tuesday by North Franklin Township police with possession of marijuana stemming from a Dec. 4 incident at McDonald’s restaurant, West Chestnut Street. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Window broken: Casey Lawhead of McDonald told McDonald police that the window of his car was broken Monday while the car was parked in the lot of Panhandle Trail, Noblestown Road, Robinson, police said.

Fence painted: Carleen Vilella of 335 Donnan Ave. told Washington police Monday that her fence was sprayed with black paint, police said.

Window broken: Washington police responded to an alarm early Tuesday from 375 W. Chestnut St. and discovered that a rock had been thrown through a window at the building, police said.

Drug charges: Michael Reginal Kerecman, 27, of 1004 McPherson Ave., Clairton, faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without inspection, state police said. Police said they found syringes and spoons during a Nov. 5 traffic stop on Allison Avenue. The charges will proceed by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
