Trail, electrical work to be done in Cross Creek, Mingo
The Washington County commissioners on Thursday approved a $37,500 contract with HRG Inc. to design and obtain permits for a paved walking trail from the Route 50 boat launch area to the Lynn Portal Road kayak launch in Cross Creek park.
In Mingo Creek park, the commissioners approved $20,200 for labor, equipment and material to provide electrical service to the newly installed rest rooms. Electrical connections to an old rest room will be removed before county workers demolish it.
Projects at both parks will be paid from oil and gas revenue.
