Harassment charge: State police cited Douglas E. Riley, 28, of 601 Mountainview Gardens, Waynesburg, with harassment and public drunkenness after he allegedly hit a man while causing a disruption early Sunday morning at 255 Wayne Road in Franklin Township.

Intimidation charge: Price A. Gipe, 30, of Waynesburg, was charged Tuesday with witness intimidation after Waynesburg police said he asked his ex-wife to lie to investigators about a burglary he is charged with committing in June 2014. Gipe is accused of offering to sign over parental rights of their daughter to his ex-wife if she implicated her brother in the burglary, according to court documents. Gipe allegedly threatened to sign over custody of their daughter to his aunt if she refused, police said. Gipe is awaiting trial on charges he burglarized a house in Waynesburg.
