Purse stolen: Shelly Kelly of 539 Blaine Ave. told Canonsburg police Tuesday her purse containing her Access card and other items was stolen Thursday.

Jailed in assault: William T. Craigway, 60, of 201 McKean Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with reckless endangerment, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Craigway of striking Melissa Reece several times on the back with a belt and also choking the woman identified in court records as his girlfriend about 7 a.m. Feb. 4 at his residence. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Two arrested: Casie Lynn Brink, 34, and John Wilson, 36, both of 54 Cedar St., Ellsworth, were arrested Tuesday morning by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment after they allegedly assaulted each other at their home. He is accused of hitting her with a cabinet drawer. She is accused of hitting and biting him. They were arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bonds.

Items stolen: State police said tools, jewelry and a Taurus .38-caliber revolver were stolen Sunday from a home in the 700 block of Sixth Street in Marianna. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

Car crashes into creek: Richard Taylor, 20, of 102 Fulton Road, North Strabane, was slightly injured Tuesday morning when his car slid off Fulton and went into a creek. He told police he had a minor shoulder injury.

Vehicle damaged: Lucile Brown of 850 Beech St. told South Strabane police Tuesday the passenger-side mirror on her vehicle was broken off while the car was parked outside her apartment.

Disorderly conduct charges: Monteka Johnson, 20, of 420 Euclid Ave., Canonsburg, and John Ellis, 24, of 316 Valley View Terrace, Canonsburg, will be charged by Washington police with disorderly conduct after they allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana while in a vehicle parked at the Stone Pavilion after Washington Park closed Tuesday night.

Tires cut: James Johnston of 485 Ewing St. told Washington police Tuesday that two tires were cut on his vehicle.
