J-M hosts annual child fair
Jefferson-Morgan School District will hold its ninth annual Early Childhood Fair from 9 a.m. to noon March 12 in the elementary school gym.
Those who live in the Jefferson-Morgan district and have children ages 5 and younger are asked to make every effort to attend.
Light refreshments will be served and each child who attends will receive a free book.
Those who have children will be able to begin the registration process for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year.
District administrators, teachers and a host of other child care agencies will be in attendance to answer questions.
The event is sponsored by the district, Community Action Southwest, the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning Community Innovations Zone Grant.
