‘Saute and Save’ workshop set

The Greene County Food Security Partnership is hosting a free “Saute and Save” workshop about how to eat healthy on a budget.

The four-week class will touch on gardening, couponing, eating healthy and summer programming for Greene County youths every Wednesday in April from noon to 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 224 S. Market St. in Carmichaels.

The workshop also will include cooking demonstrations by chef Bill Aupperle of the Lardin House restaurant in Masontown and sessions with the Penn State Extension. For more information or to register, call Maribeth Tarpley-Garrett at 724-852-5276 ext. 676.
