A former Waynesburg man who pleaded guilty to engaging in a sexual relationship with a Washington County girl nearly four years ago was sentenced Feb. 11.

Christopher M. Sieradzki, 27, of South Strabane Township, was sentenced by Greene County President Judge Farley Toothman to serve 2½ to 5 years prison and ordered to pay $1,200 in fines.

Sieradzki pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to four counts each of indecent assault, corruption of a minor, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and unlawful conduct with a minor. An assessment performed before sentencing determined he was not a sexually violent predator.

Sieradzki had sex with the North Strabane Township girl, who was 14 at the time, on three or four occasions between March and June 2012.

The first encounter occurred during a St. Patrick’s Day party in March 2012 at Sieradzki’s South Morris Street residence when he lived in Waynesburg, police said.

Police said Sieradzki and the girl had sex two or three more times at the girl’s North Strabane home over the next three months.

The girl’s mother contacted authorities in October 2014, and the girl told investigators about the relationship during an interview with police the following month.

Sieradzki, who has been held in Greene County jail since his May 1 arrest, will receive credit for time served.
