Car rolls: Caitlin M. Collingwood, 17, of Canonsburg, was slightly injured Monday morning when her car went off Jefferson Avenue (Route 844) near Jasper Avenue, Canton, struck a dirt hillside and rolled over once, state police said. Canton Township firefighters assisted at the scene.

Teen faces charge: A 15-year-old boy will be charged in a juvenile allegation with possession of marijuana after he was found with the suspected drug Tuesday at Chartiers-Houston High School, Chartiers police said.

Assault charges: Davontae Carruthers II, 23, of 115 Highland Terrace is charged by borough police with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, court records show. He is accused of striking Lattorrie Vince in the face and stomach while holding a large knife at 91 Thompson Ave. about 6 p.m. Tuesday. Police said a Taser was used to take him into custody. Carruthers is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Driver charged: Zachary M. Yocolano, 25, of 600 Mary St., Monongahela, was charged by East Washington police with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to drive at a safe speed after he allegedly crashed into three parked cars Feb. 16 in the 400 block of East Beau Street. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Woman jailed: Tammy Jo Williams, 52, of 253 Reed Ave., Houston, is charged by state police with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct over accusations she created a disturbance and pulled away from a trooper who was investigating a fight at West Pike and Adams streets about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, court records show. She is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Tickets stolen: Timothy Herschcraft, 47, of 211 DiCio St., Canonsburg, was charged Friday by North Strabane police with theft. He is accused of stealing scratch-off lottery tickets valued at $600 from a customer’s vehicle at Russo’s Auto Detail, 2599 Washington Road, Jan. 6. Police said he tried to cash winning tickets at a nearby business. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Business burglarized: A burglar removed a window on the side of Decorating South, 575 McClelland Road, to enter the building, North Strabane police said. The break-in was discovered Tuesday morning. A list of items stolen was not available.

Calls stolen: Michael C. Tatar, 28, of 61 Hoon St., Monongahela, was charged Monday by South Strabane police with two counts of retail theft after he allegedly stole two animal calls from Field and Stream, Old Mill Boulevard. Police said he stole one of the calls Jan. 14 and the other Jan. 16. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Arson investigated: Washington police said a state police fire marshal is being asked to investigate a fire that was set Tuesday night on a side porch near a basement door at the home of Nicole and James Johnson, 485 Ewing St. No damage estimate was available. Washington firefighters responded.

Vehicle stolen: Janay Johnson of 430 Maple Ave. told Washington police her silver 2005 Honda Pilot was stolen Tuesday from in front of her house. The license is JSK-3414.

Man robbed: Charles Haines of Washington told Washington police Tuesday he was in the parking lot of the Plaza Building, 150 W. Beau St., when he was approached by a tall, thin black man in his 30s. The man asked Haines for a few dollars, and when Haines refused, he said the thief reached inside his coat, grabbed $800 and ran in the direction of Jollick Manor.

Reckless driving, drug charges: Two motorcyclists were sent charges by summons for incidents Dec. 16. State police said Donald Stanley Knupp Jr., 28, of 246 Prospect Ave., and Tyler William Kline, 19, of 167 Bellvue St., were speeding along East Maiden Street near Rosewood Drive. They each face two charges of overtaking a vehicle in an unsafe manner and single counts of failure to use signals, fleeing an officer, driving with a suspended license, driving with no insurance, speeding and reckless driving. Knupp faces an additional charge of drug possession. Police said they found him with a small amount of marijuana.

Assault charge: Ross Goldstone, 18, of 61 Lemoyne Ave., faces two charges of simple assault and one charge of disorderly conduct after a fight with two juveniles at Washington High School Feb. 8, Washington police said.
