I-70 accident caused major traffic delays
A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Fallowfield Township, where one car flipped onto its roof around 5:50 p.m. Saturday, caused a major traffic delay for westbound motorists.
A 911 supervisor said six people were involved, with one person flown via medical helicopter to an area hospital. The extent of injuries was not known.
At least one person was trapped during the accident near the Monongahela exit at mile marker 33.
State police are investigating.
