Man cited in fire put in program
A Charleroi man who was accused of setting fire to two pieces of paper at the Char House in 2014 will enter a program for first-time offenders.
Andrew Wrublesky of 251 Ninth St. appeared Tuesday before Washington County Judge John F. DiSalle, who approved Wrublesky’s admittance into the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program on a charge of filing false reports.
Wrublesky admitted he told police another man, Nigel Summers, set the fire. Assistant District Attorney John P. Friedmann told DiSalle that Summers was in jail at the time of the fire.
The prosecution withdrew reckless endangerment and dangerous burning charges. Friedmann told the judge the only witness in the case, Rachel Mancuso, has died.
