WAYNESBURG – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office released the following activity for December:

• The office processed 27 civil actions and served 34 documents related to civil actions. It processed one real estate sale.

• The office processed four personal property actions and served documents related to nine personal property actions.

• The office processed six protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to four protection-from-abuse actions. Two protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.

• The office processed 317 licenses to carry concealed weapons.

• Deputies served one arrest warrant.

• Deputies transported five SCI-Greene inmates and made 50 county transports.

• The office performed five special details and assisted outside law enforcement agencies eight times.

• Deputies performed 17 traffic stops.

• Deputies traveled 1,730 miles for the month.
