The Greene County Sheriff’s Office released its activity report for 2015:

• The office processed 1,006 civil actions and served 795 documents related to civil actions.

• The department processed 63 real estate sales and served papers related to 103 real estate sales.

• The office processed 63 personal property actions and served documents related to 62 personal property actions.

• The department processed 139 protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to 114 protection-from-abuse actions.

• The office processed 1,338 licenses to carry concealed weapons and issued five licenses to sell firearms. It processed two licenses to sell precious metals.

• The department processed 76 warrants.

• Deputies transported 37 SCI-Greene inmates. They made 216 county inmate transports between Sept. 20 and the end of the year.

• The office assisted outside law enforcement agencies 58 times during the year.

• Deputies performed 107 traffic stops and traveled 37,241 miles during the year.
