Tax assistance available
Free income tax assistance will be offered at The Bible Chapel, 300 Gallery Drive, McMurray, from Feb. 1 through April 15. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Volunteers will assist taxpayers with federal, state and local wage tax returns, real estate/rent rebate forms and PACE applications.
Bring proof of identification for yourself and spouse.
Birthdates and Social Security cards or taxpayer identification cards for everyone listed on the tax return, including dependents are also needed, as are a copy of last year’s return, W-2 forms, 1099 forms and all other income and interest forms. Totals of itemized deductions, receipts for real estate taxes and large purchases, totals paid to day care providers and the tax ID number of the provider, and a voided check for direct deposit of refund are also needed.
