PITTSBURGH (AP) – Downed trees are causing problems for commuters who ride Pittsburgh’s Red Line light rail.

Strong winds on Sunday night brought the trees down on the overhead line that powers the system in Beechview.

Repair work is continuing into Monday morning and rail shuttles will operate between Overbrook and Potomac stations. A bus shuttle is running between Potomac and South Hills Junction stations.

Red Line riders should allow extra time for their commute.
