Police beat Jan. 28
Two-vehicle crash: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 12:26 p.m. Monday on Chartiers Road in Jefferson Township, state police said. Police said a vehicle driven by Kevin W. Jenkins, 36, of Waynesburg, entered the opposing lane and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by David L. Post, 51, of Jefferson.
Three hurt in crash: Three people were injured in a crash on Route 21 in Jefferson Township at 10:22 a.m. Monday when a vehicle driven by Shannon R. Sigley, 23, of Nemacolin, struck the rear of a vehicle in front of it driven by Clyde M. Thomas, 51, of Uniontown, state police said. Sigley, Thomas and a passenger in Sigley’s vehicle suffered “possible” injuries, police said, but were not transported to the hospital by ambulance.
No injuries in crash: No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday on Buckeye Road in Perry Township. State police said Donald E. Gunnoe, 56, of Maidsville, W.Va., was driving west when his vehicle slid on ice and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle operated by Ronnie H. Tennant Jr., 38, of Core, W.Va.
Theft charge: Waynesburg police charged Robert A. Pierce, 26, of Waynesburg, with theft for allegedly stealing a necklace and money from his mother’s store, Purse-n-Ality Creations at 56 E. High St., between Nov. 5 and Nov. 13.
