Benefit planned
A benefit dinner will be held next weekend to help Waynesburg Central senior Morgan McDowell, who suffered a stroke during a basketball game Monday night.
The dinner will be held Sunday, Feb. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Morris Township Community Center in Nineveh. The menu will include creamed turkey over biscuits, mashed potatoes, corn, desserts and drinks. All money raised will go directly to the family to assist with medical expenses.
