Man injured in Route 22 accident

A man was flown by emergency helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital following an accident on state Route 22 in Hanover Township about 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Both eastbound lanes were closed temporarily following the accident, and traffic was backed up for several miles.

There were no concerts scheduled Friday at First Niagara Pavilion.
