Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will be flushing hydrants in Center, Richhill and Gray townships starting today through the end of July. Customers in those areas may experience a temporary drop in pressure, loss of pressure or discolored water.
Descendants of John Mack and Nancy Johnson Phillips will hold their 44th annual reunion July 16 in the lower level of Building No. 10 at Greene County Fairgrounds. Lunch will be at noon with social time continuing until 4 p.m. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish. Place settings and beverages will be provided.
Route 21 Homes will sponsor a car cruise from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 16. No registration is necessary for anyone who wants to bring a car. Food truck vendor Hott Dawgz will be there and the event will include raffles and prizes, proceeds of which will benefit the Carmichaels-Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Co. The fire company also will have trucks there and conduct demonstrations. The band Flight Risk from Waynesburg will perform and dash plaques will be available for the first 100 cars.
