State troopers search for escaped inmate in Western Pa.
SHARON (AP) – State troopers are searching for an inmate who escaped from a Western Pennsylvania correctional facility.
Authorities say 23-year-old Cody Allen Kuntz ran out of a kitchen door at the Sharon Community Corrections Center on Friday afternoon with a garbage bag containing his clothing. Police say he was seen on a security monitor running out of the door and down a hill.
He’s serving a sentence for felony drug violations. A warrant has been issued for his arrest and authorities are asking the public to call them if they see Kuntz.
