Police Beat July 14
Disorderly conduct: Five people were cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly fighting July 8 at 39 Route 88 Moblie Home Park in Cumberland Township. Penny Bryant, 23, Nathan Lee Phillips, 24, and Teddy Allen Bryant, 25, all of 36 Route 88 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels, were allegedly fighting with Jessie M. Henderson, 32, and Frank E. Kubichar III, 25, both of 62 Route 21 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels.
Trespassing incident: Christopher R. Ramsey, 35, of 206 Hunting Woods Road, Waynesburg, was charged with trespassing after state police said he went to a home at 139 Cedar Ridge Road in Franklin Township about 3 p.m. Friday and got into an argument with the mother of his child. Police said Ramsey went to the home to pickup his daughter, but Shana Lea Puthuff, 27, asked him to leave multiple times since she needed to get dressed. He refused, police said, and she tried to close the door several times before allegedly striking Ramsey in the face and biting his arm, police said. Police earlier charged her with simple assault and harassment.
Drug charges: Roshelle Piper, 30, of 660 Windy Gap Road, Aleppo, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct after she allegedly used heroin July 7, state police said. Police said they responded to a call at the corner of Cottage hill Road and Aleppo Road in Jackson Township for the report of an unconscious woman laying along the roadway. Police said Piper’s friend, Dewey Wise, drove her to the location on his ATV, where she then injected heroin. Piper allegedly passed out and Wise was performing CPR on her when a witness, Travis Guthrie, found them and saw a spoon and prescription pill bottle on the ATV, police said. Police said they found 10 empty heroin stamp bags from the scene.
Harassment charge: Judah Ronald Myers, 19, of 107 Mechanic St., Mt. Morris, was charged by state police with harassment for allegedly punching an 18-year-old Mr. Morris man in the head June 30 in the 100 block of Main Street in Mt. Morris, according to court documents.
Harassment charges: Matthew F. Fehling, 33, of 100 Dogwood Lane, Waynesburg, was charged with two counts of harassment for allegedly calling Cornerstone Care in Mr. Morris seven times, from June 24 to 30, and threatening doctors and staff with violence, state police said. Police said Fehling blamed the doctors at the facility for not giving him the right diagnosis or medication.
Simple assault: Tim Lee Chaney, 33, of 495 Antill Hill Road, New Freeport, was charged by state police with simple assault and harassment for an incident that happened in the early hours of June 27. According to the criminal complaint, Chaney was arguing with the victim, Wesley Barlow, before he allegedly took a broom and struck Barlow in the head, causing an injury that required six staples.
