The two were arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of possession of red phosphorous and other items with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture and deliver a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. Both were placed in Washington Jail on $75,000 bond.

State police were notified Tuesday by a jail employee that Shipley provided a false name at the time of his arrest. He was arraigned Tuesday before Mark on the initial charges as well as a charge of false identification to police. His bond was increased to $100,000. Both have preliminary hearings scheduled for Wednesday before Mark.
