Greene County plea court
WAYNESBURG – A number of criminal defendants pleaded guilty last week before Greene County Judge Louis Dayich.
Nina Rose Jordan, 24, of 330 Grant St., Nemacolin; offenses – corruption of a minor, indecent assault; on Feb. 14, she and a man had sex with a 15-year-old female at the girl’s Crucible home; sentence – 6 months to 5 years in jail, credit for time served from March 4; $200 fine; must be evaluated by the state Sexual Offenders Assessment Board to determine if she is a sexually violent predator.
Akeem Everette Meyers, 33, of 79 Fort Mason Village, Masontown; offense – possession of drug paraphernalia; a charge of possession of a controlled substance was withdrawn; on April 20, Meyers, a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation, was found with a prescription bottle containing Bupropian HCL, a drug for treating depression; the bottle indicated the prescription was not his; sentence – credit for time served from May 26 to 12 months in jail.
Angel Muniz, 37, an inmate at SCI-Greene; offense – aggravated assault, simple assault; on March 24, he cut a corrections officer retrieving a food tray from his cell with a blade causing a superficial wound; sentence – 27 months to 10 years in prison, concurrent with his current sentence. He is now serving 19½ to 39 years for a third-degree murder conviction in Philadelphia in 1998.
Keith Richard Dille, 19, of 2067 Daybrook Road, Fairview, W.Va.; offenses – pleaded no contest to receiving stolen property; on Feb. 6, he was found in possession of a car that was stolen earlier in West Virginia; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail, credit for time served from May 24; $100 fine; $500 in restitution, 100 hours of community service.
Robert Dale Cumberland Jr., 35, of 273 Fourth Ave., Crucible; offenses – possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance was withdrawn; on May 22, crack cocaine, heroin and scales were found in his residence by probation officers making a home visit; sentence – 5 months to 23 ½ months in jail, eligible for work release, $200 fine, 100 hours of community service.
Rebecca Danielle Mikalik, 41, of 114 Long St., Rices Landing; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol, incapable of safe driving, third or subsequent offense; accidents resulting in injury, accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle or property, duty to give information or render aid, seven summary traffic violations; a charge of DUI based on a blood-alcohol test results was withdrawn; on Aug. 5, Mikalik was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Route 188, she failed to remain at the scene; sentence – following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Brian Keith Mayle, 41, of 21 Mason-Dixon Highway, Morgantown, W.Va.; offenses – simple assault, harassment; Mayle pushed a woman at the State Line Inn in Mt. Morris on Aug. 29; the woman fell over a chair and fractured her wrist; sentence – 2 years of probation, $500 fine; $2,086.50 in restitution.
Nicholas Joseph Demaske, 34, of 118 Valley Farm Road, Waynesburg; offense – corruption of a minor; charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a vehicle with a fraudulent registration plate were withdrawn; on Jan. 5, the vehicle he was driving, owned by another person, was stopped for motor vehicle violations; Demaske told a female juvenile in the vehicle to hide his marijuana in her shoe; sentence – 3 years of probation, 150 hours of community service.
Bradley Wayne Seller, 49, of 1483 Jefferson Road, Jefferson; offenses – accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, duty to provide information or render aid, a summary traffic violation; on Jan. 15, Sellers was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Waynesburg; he failed to stop at the scene; sentence – 1 year of probation, $250 fine, 50 hours of community service.
Charles Edward Yeager, 38, of 855 Rolling Meadows Road, Waynesburg; offenses – false identification to law enforcement, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked; three other summary violations; a charge of identity theft was withdrawn; stopped by police Dec. 14, Yeager gave false identification; sentence – credit for time served, 11 days, to 1 year in jail, $250 in fines, 50 hours of community service.
Mark Kenneth Kapcala, 59, of 144 Hedge Road, Jefferson; DUI, incapable of safe driving; driving while his operating privileges are suspended or revoked; driving without a license, three other summary violations; a charge of DUI, based on BAC test results, was withdrawn; Kapcala was arrested Sept. 24 following a traffic stop; his BAC was listed as 0.180; sentence – following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Roger Thomas Phillips Jr., 29, of 295 Moffit Road, Dilliner; DUI, incapable of safe driving; 11 summary traffic violations; a charge of DUI, based of BAC test results, was withdrawn; arrested July 6, 2015, he had a BAC of .157 percent; sentence – 5 days to 6 months in jail, $425 fines, 100 hours of community service.
Robert Louis Dickey, 67, of 113 Stage Coach Road, Nemacolin; offense – pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct; amended from a charge of endangering the welfare of a child; on July 10,2015, a three-year-old Dickey was to be watching was found alone along the side of Nemacolin Road; sentence – 6 months of probation, $300 fine.
Daniel Wayne Ealy Jr., 30, of 402 Sugar Run Road, Waynesburg; offenses – DUI, driving while his operating privileges are suspended or revoked, eight other summary violations; arrested Aug. 15, 2015, Ealy had a BAC of 0.147 percent.
Thomas Clipp, 33, of 241 Miller Road, Aleppo; offenses – DUI, controlled substance, second offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; four summary violation; arrested Dec. 22, following a single-vehicle crash, blood tests indicated he was under the influence of morphine; sentence – 5 years in the county intermediate punishment program with the first 90 days on house arrest with GPS and alcohol monitoring; $1,875 in fines, 100 hours of community service.
Ashlee M. Kniha, 30, of 405 Third St., Waynesburg; offenses – possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while her operating privileges are suspended or revoked; arrested March 23, she was in possession of heroin and a syringe; sentence – credit for time served, from June 6, to 1 year in jail; $200 fine, 50 hours of community service.
