Harassment charge: Adrian Buchanan, 24, of 417 Mountainview Gardens, Franklin Township, was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly shoving another person Thursday night near his residence, state police said.

Controlled substance charge: Shawn Patrick Nairn, 23, was charged by state police for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs and six other traffic offenses following a July 2 traffic stop along Interstate 79 in Washington Township. Police said Nairn admitted to taking Xanax that day, and troopers found 10 Xanax pills inside a pen with a hidden compartment.
