Road closure planned in South Park
Piney Fork Road in Jefferson Hills Borough and South Park Township, Allegheny County, will close starting today, weather permitting.
Beginning at 9 a.m., crews from Lone Pine Construction will erect a railroad bridge for Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway over Piney Fork Road between Gil Hall Road and Snowden Road. The road will be closed to traffic through the end of August. Traffic will be detoured.
