Cornerstone Care will hold a dental health poster contest for children ages 5 to 18 during National Health Center Week next month.
Entries will be separated into three age groups: ages 5 to 8; ages 9 to 13; and ages 14 to 18. To participate, children need to create a poster about dental health and ways to fight cavities.
Participants must incorporate the Cornerstone Care and Smile for Life logos into their posters. Smile for Life mascots, Tommy and Tami Smiley, also can be included.
Participants may use paints, colored pencils, charcoal, colored markers or pencil. Posters should be on a poster sized 22-by-28 inches. Poster paper will be available free from any Cornerstone Care Dental office.
Final entries need to be turned in by 5 p.m. Aug. 12. Winners will be selected by each individual office Aug. 17.
One winner will be chosen from each age group for a total of three winners per office. Those winners will receive a $25 Walmart gift card. One grand prize winner will be chosen from each office and will receive a $50 Walmart gift card.
Family members of any Cornerstone Care employee are ineligible to win prizes, but may participate by submitting a poster.
Cornerstone Care Dental offices that will be participating are located in Waynesburg, Greensboro, Uniontown, Mt. Morris and Burgettstown.
The poster contest rules can be found on the Cornerstone Care website at www.cornerstonecare.com.
