Tractor stolen: A John Deere tractor owned by Efficiency Services Ohio and worth about $60,000 was stolen from a construction site at Wilman Hill and Dogwood Lane in Washington Township between 11 a.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Disorderly conduct charge: Justin Ray McGowan, 29, of 107 E. High St., Waynesburg, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following an incident that happened just before midnight Wednesday. Waynesburg police said McGowan was staggering on the sidewalk on West High Street and appeared to be intoxicated. When police approached McGowan, he allegedly threw his six-pack of Red’s Apple Ale at them and a bottle broke on the ground, police said. After his arrest, McGowan threatened to shoot the police officers with a shot gun, police said, although he had no weapon at the time.
