Gun stolen: Eli Chipps of 970 Glenn St. told South Strabane police a .22-caliber Ruger handgun and $40 were stolen from his locked vehicle early Thursday. He said the thief forced open the console to steal the gun.
Harassment charge: Dena Anderson, 20, of 27 Central Ave., was charged Wednesday by Washington police with harassment after she allegedly struck her neighbor, Becky Carroll of 25 Central, during a confrontation outside their homes. Police also charged James Carroll with disorderly conduct after he did not listen to orders to go inside his home and stop yelling at the neighbors.
Cellphones stolen: Two teenage girls told Washington police Wednesday their iPhones were stolen from a bag near the diving board at Washington Park pool.
