Bethlehem-Center to recognize grads
Bethlehem-Center Senior High School will graduate 91 seniors at commencement exercises at 7 p.m. Friday at the Beth-Center football stadium. Alayna Mickoloff is the valedictorian and Christopher John Andrew Lloyd is the salutatorian.
Mickoloff is a daughter of Paul and Jill Mickoloff of Marianna.
She received the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award, the Waynesburg University A.B. Miller Award, the Bethlehem-Center School District Superintendent’s Award and Rotary Club Student of the Month.
She was president of the National Honor Society and French Club, and a member of the Leo Club, Science Club and the school television broadcast team. She also was the varsity soccer captain, participated in Relay for Life, and was a member of the Penn State Fayette Eberly Campus 4.0 Club, senior members of which have obtained a 4.0 GPA all four years of high school.
She will attend Waynesburg University in the fall, though her major is undecided.
Lloyd is a son of Brian and Emily Lloyd of Fredericktown.
He received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence, the Le Prix Eiffel Award, and took part in the Student Recognition Luncheon.
He was the secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of the Student Council, The Future is Mine, Film Club, Science Club and French Club.
He will attend Penn State Fayette Eberly Campus to obtain a degree in chemical engineering.
