Harassment: Joetta Kay Scherich, 54, of 408 Church Run Road, Spraggs, was charged with harassment Tuesday for allegedly driving to a residence on Garards Fort Road in Franklin Township and, on two occasions within the past month, screaming obscenities at a woman, state police said.

Simple assault: Christopher Michael Allen, 38, of 178 N. West St., Waynesburg, was charged Wednesday with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute that happened at 11 p.m. that night, Waynesburg police said. Police said Allen allegedly got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend at his residence before he smashed her phone and struck her in the face and arm.
