Names of 2 men shot dead on Pittsburgh highway released
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Officials have released the names of two men found shot to death in a vehicle on one of Pittsburgh’s busiest highways.
The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified the men as 24-year-old Carlton Watson Jr. and 26-year-old Richard West-Gray, both of the city’s Hazelwood neighborhood.
Police said the shooting was reported shortly before 5 a.m. Friday near the McKees Rocks Bridge on Route 65, which leads from the city’s West End to its suburbs.
Officers tried to perform CPR on the victims after they were found in the sedan, but they were pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. No arrests have been announced in the case.
