County sheriff releases May report
WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant released the following activity report for May.
• The office processed 42 civil actions and served 46 documents related to civil actions.
• It processed four real estate sales, served papers related to eight real estate sales and posted four real estate notices.
• The office processed two personal property actions and served documents related to four personal property actions.
• The office processed seven protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to five protection-from-abuse actions. Two protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.
• The office processed 81 licenses to carry concealed weapons and one license to sell firearms.
• Sheriff’s deputies received 10 warrants and served eight warrants.
• Deputies transported 11 state prison inmates and made 34 county transports.
• The office performed three special details and assisted outside law enforcement agencies one time.
• Deputies performed eight traffic stops.
• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 4,599.
