Police Beat June 9
Harassment: Tesla DeVault, 19, of 246 Grant St., Nemacolin, was charged with harassment for allegedly striking an 18-year-old Nemacolin man in the mouth around 2 p.m. May 30 while on Grant Street, Cumberland Township police said.
Drug possession: Glen Edward Miller, 38, of 25 Route 21 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels, was charged by Cumberland Township police with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police allegedly found two grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia at his residence May 1, according to the criminal complaint.
Harassment: Three people were charged with harassment after a fight that broke out May 7 on Brunner Hill Road in Dunkard Township. Jaime Lea McClead, 38, of 165 Brunner Hill Road, Mt. Morris, was charged for allegedly shoving Mercedes Marie McClead, 22, of Point Marion. Gregory Michael McClead, 38, of the same Brunner Hill address, was charged for allegedly throwing Mercedes to the ground by her neck and slamming her head against a car. Mercedes was charged for allegedly jumping on Jaime and slapping and punching her in the head.
Criminal trespass: Charles Edward Smith, 76, of 274 Stoney Hill Road, Greensboro, was charged by state police with two counts of trespassing, theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a dirt bike around 4 a.m. Tuesday. Police said Smith allegedly took the dirt bike, worth about $1,600, from another person who lived at his residence. Police said Smith broke into a detached garage in the 700 block of Stoney Hill Road in Monongahela Township and stored the bike there, where police later found it.
